Counseling for Children, Teens & Young Adults in Miami

My Therapy Approach
Every child, teen, and young adult is different—and therapy should honor that. I use a warm, individualized approach that focuses on your strengths and what already works for you. My goal is to create a space where healing feels possible and growth feels natural.
Creative expression can be a powerful tool in therapy. For many kids and teens, talking isn’t the only—or even the best—way to make sense of what they’re feeling. Depending on your child’s needs, we might explore:
Creative expression may include:
Drawing, painting, or visual storytelling
Writing poetry, journaling, or expressive writing
Creating music or lyrics that reflect their experiences
These creative outlets are never about performance or skill. They’re about helping your child express what’s hard to say and build trust with themselves and others.
Together, we’ll use what already lives inside you—your resilience, your creativity, your voice—to support healing and long-term change.
Our Services

Being a kid isn’t always easy. If your child is struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, or big emotions they don’t yet have words for, therapy can help. I work with children and adolescents to build emotional strength, express their feelings in healthy ways, and grow confidence from the inside out.

College can feel overwhelming—even if everything looks fine on the outside. I support young adults navigating anxiety, academic pressure, identity shifts, and transitions toward independence. Together, we’ll create space for clarity, confidence, and self-trust as they find their way forward.

You know your child best. My work includes you—because therapy isn’t about replacing your role, it’s about reinforcing it. I partner closely with parents to offer guidance, reinforce progress at home, and help the whole family feel more connected, confident, and supported.
How I Work
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more balanced, supportive ones. It’s especially helpful for managing anxiety and building confidence over time.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
DBT introduces powerful skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. This is often a key part of my work with teens who feel overwhelmed by big feelings or who struggle with impulsivity.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
For young adults and college students feeling stuck, MI can help uncover internal motivation for change. It’s a gentle but powerful approach that invites self-reflection without pressure.
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
Sometimes you just need help moving forward. SFT focuses on your strengths and goals — even small wins — to build momentum and hope in everyday life.
“Therapy doesn’t have to be scary. It’s about figuring things out together, at your pace, and building on the strengths you already have.”
