“Just be yourself. There is no one better.”
– Taylor Swift
Sometimes, you just can’t seem to put one foot in front of the other successfully. And while I agree with T-Swift when she says, “Life is like walking – you take one step at a time,” it’s not always that easy. Challenges can keep you or your child from taking the steps you need to take. Anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues can hold your feet planted firmly in one spot.
Partnering with a warm, welcoming, and supportive child, teen, adolescent, and college student counselor you can truly connect with can make all the difference.
I can help you take those steps forward to help you or your child overcome mental health challenges and achieve your goals.
First Things First: I’m Human, Just Like You.
One of the most significant obstacles to seeking therapy for teens, children, and young adults is the fear of not feeling heard, validated, or understood by their therapist. You may also be concerned about feeling judged or ashamed.
Listen: I know you or your child are amazing. You are wonderfully unique, with your own characteristics and life story. So maybe you’re stumbling a little bit right now. That’s okay. I stumble through life, too, sometimes.
Why? Because while I’m a counselor, I am, first and foremost, a human.
So, what does that mean for you?
That means when you work with me, you get a counselor who gets it. I understand that life can be really, really hard. I’ve worked with families from various socioeconomic backgrounds and pride myself on always treating each and every one of my clients with the same level of respect.
You will always feel seen, validated, and understood and never be judged. We’re all on this journey of life together. I’m here to help you figure some things out to get you moving forward, empowered with confidence.
Child and Adolescent Counseling, Counseling for College Students, and Support for Families

You’ve got a lot on your plate as a parent. The same goes for kids, teens, tweens, and college students. The storms of life, not to mention the actual Florida storms, can wreak havoc on your mental health and self-esteem.
Whether you’re struggling with your child, tween, or teen, I know, without a doubt, you have their best interest at heart. You want to start again, increase self-confidence, and live a healthy life without debilitating concerns like anxiety and depression.
That’s why I named my practice “Begin Again Therapy.” You have the power to begin again. Therapy for teens, counseling for college students, and child and adolescent counseling in Miami and throughout Florida can help you start fresh and learn how to become the best version of your fabulous self.
Not to mention, you probably guessed I’m a Swiftie, and one of my favorite songs of hers is “Begin Again.” So, props to Taylor. And props to you for doing what you need to do to improve the future of your child or yourself.
