Guiding Children, Teens & Young Adults Toward Healing

Therapist for Kids, Teens & Young Adults in Miami

I became a therapist because I’ve lived the difference therapy can make. In college, I struggled with anxiety and self-doubt. One session with a compassionate therapist helped me feel seen, supported, and grounded—and that experience changed the course of my life. It gave me the clarity and confidence to take back control, and eventually led me to this work.

Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of working with kids, teens, and young adults across a range of settings—from the juvenile justice system to public schools to private practice. My early career taught me how important it is to meet people where they are and to recognize that healing looks different for everyone. I started Begin Again Therapy to create a warm, welcoming space where young people feel truly heard and supported as they move through hard things and learn to trust themselves again.

Whether I’m helping a middle schooler navigate friend drama, a college student manage anxiety, or a parent better understand their child, I’m always focused on building a genuine connection. My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative—never judgmental or overly clinical. I believe in showing up as a real person in the room, because therapy works best when it feels safe and human.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to start. You just have to be willing to begin again—and I’ll be here to walk with you through it.

What to Expect

I know starting therapy can feel overwhelming. It’s completely normal to feel uncertain, especially when it’s about your child’s wellbeing or your own. This process can bring up anxiety, vulnerability, even resistance. I get that — truly.

What I’ve learned, both in my training and through years of sitting with people in tough moments, is this: feeling safe comes first. You need to feel:

  • Heard
  • Valued
  • Validated
  • Respected

That’s the foundation I offer. I’ll meet you exactly where you are and honor your pace. I won’t push you past your emotional limits — ever. You don’t need to be “fixed.” You just need a space to be understood, and from there, we’ll begin the work — gently, together.

What Parents Can Expect

Even if I’m working primarily with your child or teen, you’re still a vital part of the process. I see parents as partners in therapy — not outsiders. I may only meet with your child once a week, but you’re with them all the time. You know them best.

You won’t be judged or second-guessed here. I trust that you’re doing your best and that you care deeply about your child’s wellbeing. You’re not in this alone.

We’ll work together as a team to support your child, teen, or college student — whether that means helping them open up emotionally, build confidence, or navigate big changes. And yes, dads — this includes you too. I know it’s not always easy to talk about emotions, but I’ve got your back.

Let’s do this together. We’ve got this.

What Children, Teens, and Young Adults Can Expect

I remember what it’s like to be a kid — how confusing, frustrating, or overwhelming things can feel when your world is shifting. That’s why I bring not just empathy, but a deep understanding of what your child or teen might be going through.

In therapy, I work to create a space where your child feels safe to speak, to be silent, to explore their emotions, or to just take a breath. Whether it’s a young child learning to name their feelings, a tween struggling with friendships or self-esteem, or a college student facing big life transitions — my job is to help them feel seen and supported.

I’ve helped children find their voice, tweens build confidence, and young adults reconnect with themselves. Each one has taught me something, and I carry those lessons with me into every session.

I’m not here to fix your child. I’m here to walk beside them — and you — as they grow, heal, and become more of who they’re meant to be.

We’ll take it one step at a time. Together.
